The rumors spoke of a "periscope" camera with a 5x optical zoom that would be combined with the ISOCELL Bright HMX 108MP sensor developed by the South Korean company in collaboration with Xiaomi. But now, new information that came to light suggests the use of a 2nd generation sensor.
This means that the Galaxy S11 series will feature for the needs of the main camera a sophisticated version of the sensor featuring the upcoming Xiaomi CC9 Pro and Mi Note 10.
However, it is not clear what the differences between the 1st generation of the sensor and the 2nd generation will be. However, the current sensor that will be located on new Xiaomi devices promises 27MP photos in excellent detail (thanks to the large sensor size and the 4-in-1 pixel binning technique).
