The new smartwatch has a 1.3" round AMOLED display with 360x360 pixels resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 to protect it. It weighs 46 grams and is watertight based on the IP68 standard, although the company probably does not want to wear it while you swim.
It has NFC for intact transactions and heart rate sensor as well as GPS, while Huami promises 5-day autonomy with continuous pulse detection. It runs a specially designed OS from Xiaomi and has a dual-core processor with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage, of which only 2GB are available to the user.
It has a microphone and speakerphone for making hands-free calls and a digital assistant (for China) called Xiao. As part of the Xiaomi Mijia ecosystem, it can control smart devices such as sockets, lamps, air conditioners, robots, home appliances in general.
